Many customers are eligible for our Instant Quote service, but there are occasions where this is not possible and we ask you to complete a remote site survey first. We explain why and what the survey involves.
We know speed is of the essence when it comes to arranging an EV charge point installation, as many of our you will have electric cars arriving very soon.
That’s why we introduced our Instant Quote service. By answering a few questions in our Request a Quote enquiry form, we are able to provide an Instant Quote to many of our customers.
But some customers aren’t eligible for our Instant Quote service. This is usually because we suspect the installation is going to be more complex, so we need a little more information upfront in order to provide your quote.
How do I know if I need to do a Online Site Survey?
We’ll let you know. Select your preferred charger and click “Request a Quote” to get started and fill in the short enquiry form.
If you’re eligible for an Instant Quote, we’ll send it to you by email right away. If not, we’ll email you a link to your unique Online Site Survey.
How do I complete the survey?
Our Online Site Survey is really easy to complete, but it’s best to do it via your smartphone as we’ll ask you to take some photos and a short video.
Simply click the link in the email or text message we send you to get started. We guide you along the way with example photos and clear descriptions so you know exactly what we’re looking for.
When do I receive my quote?
You should normally receive a quote within two working days of your site survey being completed. The sooner you complete it, the quicker we can assess the details and send your quote.

What if you don’t have your electric car yet? Should you do your survey now?
Yes! As long as your car is on order, it’s always best to start the process of getting a quote and your charger installed as early as possible. Our advice is to complete the Online Site Survey as soon as you can – after all, the quote is free and you don’t need to make a purchase if you don’t want to. If you don’t want the installation to take place just yet, that’s fine – we can always wait.
